The player selects a gender and facial features, then answers a series of multiple-choice questions about the character's past, which generate the character's initial attributes which the player can add to afterwards. The player is able to join one of the six warring factions, fight as a mercenary, assume the role of an outlaw, help a claimant overtake the throne, start their own faction or simply take a neutral stance.Īt the start of the game, the player is presented with a set of options for character customization.
The game features a sandbox gameplay style, in which there is no main storyline present.
